Britain and the World Announces New Journal Issue

We are thrilled to announce the release of our September 2022 issue of our journal Britain and the World. Our biannual journal explores Britain’s interactions with the world from the seventeenth century to the present, and it is freely available to our members as part of your membership fees.

This issue showcases the diversity of scholarship characteristic of our organization with fascinating articles ranging from decolonization in Africa, to the abolition of princely privileges in India, to the decision to commemorate the “Pilgrim Fathers” in Humberside after the First World War, and Sino-British tensions in the 1851 Great Exhibition. This issue also contains multiple book reviews which may be of interest to our readers.

We encourage you to join or renew your membership to gain access to this issue.
